During the Swinging 60’s London was the coolest, most hip city on the planet. Other cities may have had more glamour, more panache, more energy but London was indisputably where it was at. A global icon of art, culture and counter-culture, a nervy yet relaxed oasis in a world of problems and threats.

Born into this dynamic era was Notting Hill Studios, a small production company with big ambitions to document musical performances and archive one of the most exciting eras in history.

From Rock ‘n’ Roll Legends like Chuck Berry, Little Richard & Jerry Lee Lewis to globally admired artists such as The Small Faces, The Faces (Rod Stewart), Otis Redding, Procol Harum & The Animals to the mould-breaking anarchic brilliance of Punk, all found a documented home here within its archives.

Add to this celebrities such as David Frost, Twiggy, Michael Caine and others in interviews of the time that give a unique ‘people-first’, ‘I was there’ perspective of what was going on.
